Tennessee Clean Energy Technology Grant Program

ECD offers grants to offset the cost of businesses installing clean energy technology such as solar systems, solar electric generating equipment, wind energy systems, solar thermal systems, hydrogen fuel cells and hybrid solar lighting.

Eligibility

Tennessee companies of any size are eligible to receive grants of up to 40% of the total installed system cost up to $75,000.

Terms

Grant dollars are allocated on a “reimbursement basis” only and a contractor’s design an installation proposal must be submitted with the application. Approved applicants may get up to three grants for projects at different locations, but the grants cannot be combined and used at one location.
